I copied a file from my Email and now I can not save to it. Why.

You may also see additional errors regarding accessing the MicroSurvey Database including:

"Error opening a MicroSurvey Project File.  This is a serious program error."

Files sent via email through the internet and copied from a CD can be automatically set to Read Only. 

If so, then we can not save any changes back to the file. You need to go and turn the Read Only option off by using Windows Explorer.
