Geoid Model for Africa

FieldGenius now supports the Geoid Model for Africa. (EGM08)

Due to the size of the African Continent, the geoid model is divided into nine zones. Please use the EGM08 map or Google Earth to find the appropriate zone for your location:

1. Latitude 4N - 36N , Longitude 18W - 0W
2. Latitude 18.5N - 37.5N , Longitude 0E - 12E
3. Latitude 18.5N - 37.5N , Longitude 9E - 36E
4. Latitude 1.5N - 23.5N , Longitude 0E - 27E
5. Latitude 2S - 23.5N , Longitude 21.5E - 51.5E
6. Latitude 18.25S - 5.5N , Longitude 8.5E - 31.5E
7. Latitude 27S - 5.25N , Longitude 28.75E - 42E
8. Latitude 35S - 15.5S , Longitude 11.5E - 33.5E
