It's possible to have the exact same hatch pattern display as expected in one drawing, and look completely different in another drawing. One potential reason for this may be the coordinate values of the hatch boundary.
Examples
Using the STONE00 pattern, hatches closer to 0,0 might look ok, such as in the screen capture below:
Yet in another drawing, you might have something similar to the image below:
Solution
The HPORIGIN (hatch pattern origin) drawing variable is by default 0,0. Update this variable to be within the area of your drawing to get the hatch patterns to draw properly:
- Enter HPORIGIN in the command line
- Pick anywhere near your hatch boundary
- Try drawing the hatch again
