I am running FG 10 for Windows version 10.4.1.1 and I'm having difficulty 'determining' area with the 'hinge method'. in the Calculate Area routine. I can successfully calculate area of figures. I can also successfully calculate an area using the 'parallel method'. I have tried several iterations using the FG Sample file as well as my own project files. I have also very closely followed the routine in your training movies step by step. At each attempt I get a failure to solve when using the hinge method; but when using parallel method I can successfully solve the determined area. I am wondering if there were issues with the area determination routine in this particular version of FG10?
