General info about NMEA Stream

The Emlid transmits a position as a NMEA stream

FieldGenius for Windows can be used with EMLID's highly affordable GPS solution. Some notes:

Network Rover RTK solution only with the RS model, Radio Base-Rover Connection not supported.
Network Rover RTK and Radio Base-Rover Connection supported with RS+ and RS2 model.
FieldGenius Windows must be run on a Windows 7, 8 or 10 computer/tablet. Windows Mobile, embedded or Windows CE operating systems are not supported.
RS/RS+ antenna offset: 65mm
RS2/RS3 antenna offset: 134mm

Emlid RS3 Tilt notes:

Emlid Flow app - Bluetooth NMEA message type GGA must be set to 2 Hz or lower
Emlid Flow app - Bluetooth NMEA message type GSV must be set to 0.1 Hz
Emlid Flow app - Bluetooth NMEA all other message types can remain at 1 Hz
Antenna Height must be entered only in Emlid Flow. Leave the height as 0 in FieldGenius
Instrument must be turned on while outside receiving satellites. If it was turned on before, the IMU may not initialize.
Once you are RTK Fixed in FieldGenius, the IMU may still not be initialized. Move the instrument around in different directions. You should hear a “beep” noise from the RS3 once it initializes.
