MSCAD 2005 / MapScenes 2006 Toolbar Problems
Q) Every time I start up MSCAD 2005 or MapScenes 2006, my toolbars move around. It's driving me crazy, how can I make them stay put?
A) This is due to the program looking at the non-maximized window size to determine where the toolbars can be placed as the program is started. To get around this, do the following steps:
- Start MSCAD/MapScenes. The toolbars will be placed in the incorrect positions.
- Press the Restore Down button (the middle of the three buttons in the top-right corner of the program window), it will shrink your MSCAD/MapScenes window down to it's non-maximized size.
- Stretch the size of your window to roughly cover your entire monitor by dragging the corners of the window.
- Press the Maximize button to expand back to full-screen.
- Place your toolbars as desired.
- Exit MSCAD/MapScenes to save the toolbar positions as they are currently positioned.
- Start MSCAD/MapScenes again, and this time your toolbars should all be placed correctly.
