The following is a list of critical bugs or important limitations that users should be aware of which affect MicroSurvey CAD 2019. It is not intended as an exhaustive list of all issues.
Important Note: If you ever experience a crash when using MicroSurvey CAD, when you are asked if you would like to send an error report, please always select Yes to send the report. MicroSurvey and IntelliCAD programmers can use these error reports to help investigate and fix crashing problems that occur within the program, even if it is a problem that is not easily reproducible.

Problem: The new feature to automatically regenerate point clouds following view changes (zoom/pan/orbit) may not work, depending on your version of Leica Cyclone.
- MicroSurvey CAD 2018 SP1 or earlier with any Cyclone - Not supported
- MicroSurvey CAD 2019 with Leica Cyclone 9.2.0 or earlier - Not supported
- MicroSurvey CAD 2019 with Leica Cyclone 9.2.1 or newer - Supported
Solution: This feature requires that you are using both MicroSurvey CAD 2019 or newer and Cyclone 9.2.1 or newer. Previous versions of Cyclone (since 9.1.1) are generally compatible with MicroSurvey CAD 2019 but users are highly recommended to upgrade in order to benefit from the automatic regeneration which streamlines, simplifies, and improves your workflow when using point clouds.

Problem: The new feature to automatically regenerate your point cloud following view changes (zoom, pan, orbit) does not work following the import of a FieldGenius, Leica DBX, or HeXML project.
Workaround 1: After completing the FieldGenius, Leica DBX, or HeXML Import you can save, close and re-open your drawing then the automatic regeneration will work correctly.
Workaround 2: After completing the FieldGenius, Leica DBX, or HeXML Import you can use the Regen Cloud (CWREGEN) command to manually regenerate your cloud as needed, like in previous versions.
Status: Zoom and Pan cause regeneration, and orbit will be fixed in a future update.

Problem: The new Artisan Rendering commands produce the following error message: "Artisan not found"
Solution: You must install Artisan For IntelliCAD before you can use the various Artisan commands. This is a common package that will be shared by MicroSurvey CAD 2019 and future versions.
Status: Artisan For IntelliCAD is available for download in the MicroSurvey Helpdesk here. No additional purchase or license is required.

Problem: The new Artisan Rendering commands do not display some objects in your drawing.
Solution: The Artisan rendering system is only capable of objects with faces, for example if you draw a TIN model as faces or polyface meshes. Lines, polylines, points, text, etc. will not be rendered by the Artisan system. Other rendering commands including Visual Styles, Render and MSRender and do support such objects that do not have faces.
Status: It is unknown whether future versions of Artisan will add the capability to render non-faced objects.

Problem: Deleting the last point description from your AutoMAP library will crash the program.
Solution: Use the "New Library" button, rather than deleting all codes, to create a blank library.
Status: This will be fixed in a future update.
Reported: November 20, 2018
Problem: Manual traverse entry in a south azimuth system computes incorrectly, and angles are turned as if they are in a north azimuth system.
Solution: Add 180 degrees to south azimuths during manual traverse entry.
Status: This will be fixed in a future update.

Problem: Locked points are still editable via the geodetic point editing tool (MS_EDITPG).
Solution: Pay attention to the "Locked" checkbox at the top of the dialog.
Status: This will be fixed in a future update.
