** This issue has been fixed in MicoSurvey CAD 2013
Users in Western Canada who need to import old data files from Rapid Transit software have reported that the Rapid Transit import routine in MicroSurvey CAD version 10.7.0 is no longer working correctly. Apparently MicroSurvey CAD version 10.7.0 crashes when it attempts to import a point that has an elevation of zero.
If this issue affects you we would recommend installing an earlier release of MicroSurvey CAD and using that program just for importing purposes. A USB key that is licensed to run MicroSurvey CAD 2010 version 10.7.0 would also allow the user to run MicroSurvey CAD 2009, for example.
Because of database improvements that were made for the 2010 version of MicroSurvey CAD we highly recommend that the 2009 program is used only for importing the rapid transit file. After that please close the program, open it in the current version of MicroSurvey CAD and continue working on the project.
This issue has been reported to the development team, but it is difficult to predict when a solution will be available.
