MicroSurvey CAD 2004, 2002, and 2001, by default, saved all of its drawings in a FLX file format. This FLX format can not be used by any other programs. MicroSurvey CAD 2005 and newer uses the industry standard DWG file format. To get all of your old FLX files converted into DWG files, MSCAD2004 includes a Batch Conversion Utility.
